Membership

Annual Membership costs € 20. Being member of the association does not only mean being able to participate to Walking Tours with other members, but also supporting our cultural action, supporting the fortnightly newsletter "il cammino", participating to our walking events, festivals, being covered by the insurance during the activities of the association and having advantages and discounts in sports shops and accomodations who have a convention with us.

In order to become a member of the Association, you can download the Association Membership Application Form and send it filled to the secretary, with a € 20 bank transfer.

Cost

The cost of participation includes what it is reported within brackets. Under the heading "Other Expenses", we have estimated the approximate expenses that participants have to pay on their own for eating, sleeping, and other possible expenses for internal travel from Italy. The estimations are rather accurate, but please excuse us if there are little differences. When a flight is planned, an indicative cost is written, subject to increases linked to the price of fuel and to the fact that it is estimated monthes before. The amount for Other Expenses should never be sent, except if expressly stated.

Booking

To participate in our walking tours you need to be member of the association in the present year.

We suggest you to book at least 30 days before departure.

Please contact the secretary by phone at +39 0439 026029 (Monday-Friday 10-13/15-18) or by e-mail to check the possibility of booking; then you should confirm by sending the requested down payment plus the associative subscription, if it is not already done for the present year.

In any case, the organization reserves the right to cancel the excursion if the minimum number of six participants is not reached.

General conditions

Insurance Policies

The members are insured for travel at the moment of registration, in case of accident and for the medical expenses. We have chosen the C.A.E.S. cooperative (Cooperativa Assicurativa Etico Solidale), because they are ethically oriented.

Bank

Compagnia dei Cammini is a member of Banca Etica, because amongst Italian banks it is the one that is most engaged in a process of renewal and transparency of the banking system.

Travel for Pre-arranged Groups

It is possible to organize our walking tours at other times for pre-arranged groups of at least 6-7 people, at special prices.
